Title: The Church Staff: Crafting Team Ministry Don Ng |
Workshop Description:
When each person is unique, getting everyone on church staff, professional or volunteer, to work together can be a difficult job. To craft a collaborative and productive team, one of the first things to know is your own needs and gifts. As supervisor of your team, you can model collegiality and teamwork leading others to follow. This workshop is an opportunity to share your experiences with others with practical ideas. The success of valuing and integrating your church staff in doing ministry together answers the call of being the Body of Christ.
Presenter:
Don is the Senior Pastor of the First Chinese Baptist Church in San Francisco since 1998. FCBC, founded in 1880, is a bilingual, bi-cultural, and multi-generational congregation in the heart of Chinatown. He is a trustee of the American Baptist Seminary of the West and a member of the Joseph Campbell and Asian American Clergy of No. California TIM groups.
