Workshop Description:
During our time together, we will name the real challenges we face today, in not only passing on the Christian faith, but in nurturing the experience of God. Together we will creatively discover how some of these challenges present fresh opportunities to address 24/7 discipleship formation, in the classroom and beyond. Let us join together to call forth our mandate to teach and to preach in relevant ancient ways.
Presenter:
Mayra Castaneda is interim pastor of Princeton Baptist Church of Penns Neck, New Jersey. Previously she held positions in Christian education and leadership formation, both in regional and national ministries. Mayra enjoys teaching at the seminary level and facilitating workshops in all areas of faith formation. Rev. Castaneda holds an M.Div. and an M.A.C.E. from Northern Baptist Theological Seminary.
