Workshop Description:
This workshop will explore how, in the midst of financial uncertainty, we, as people of faith, manage our personal resources today and plan for tomorrow.
Presenter:
Sara serves as regional representative to Illinois and Missouri. Before joining MMBB, Sara was area minister for the American Baptist Churches of Massachusetts. From 1992 to 1999 she was senior pastor and director of campus ministry at the University Baptist Church in Columbus, Ohio. She has held other pastoral leadership roles at South Wayne Baptist Church, Ft. Wayne, Indiana; The South Church, Mt. Prospect, Illinois; and North Shore Baptist Church in Chicago. A graduate of the University of North Dakota, Sara has an M.S.S.A. degree from Case Western Reserve University; a master of divinity degree from Northern Baptist Theological Seminary and a doctor of ministry from McCormick Seminary. In 2007, Sara earned her certification as a Certified Financial Planner™ professional and enjoys working with MMBB members to reach their financial goals.
